The Tomb of Mausolus, Mausoleum of Mausolus or Mausoleum at Halicarncessus( in Greek) was a tomb built between 353 and 350BC at Halicarnassus (present Bodurn, Turkey) for mausolus, a satrap in the persion Empire, and Artemisia ll of caria, his wife and sister.
